Productive and fun workplace but sometimes stressing
DATA RESEARCHER I (Former Employee) - ISLAMABAD Capital Territory - February 13, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedWorkplace culture is excellent, and people in general are pleasant. Salaries are not up to the mark. Great benefits. Not the kind of equality among departments that they claim to have.
Pros
Benefits, Flexibility
Cons

Only good as a starting point
Client Engagement Associate (Current Employee) - Capital Territory - October 6, 2021
It is not too fulfilling and is considered a low cost center only. There is not much direction for the employee's as well as a lack of initiatives in terms of compensation and benefits.

Their experience is not relevant to the market
Senior Analyst (Former Employee) - Islamabad - February 2, 2021
Used to be a better company before 2015 but now it has totally changed into an exploitative workplace. Long and stressful working hours with no recognition or job security whatsoever. The experience won't help in any other job so you have to start from scratch even after working 10 years at this company because the experience has no market value. They will try to extract maximum production from you but still you won't be given the growth and incentives you deserve. Strongly not recommended.
Pros
Medical insurance and OPD coverage
Cons
Stressful, No recognition, Favoritism, Irrelevant experience

productive and pay for performance culture
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Islamabad - December 10, 2019
This is a very good place for professionals to join who are good at the latest tech skills, Robotics, Automation, Data science, etc. The culture of the company is very good and equal opportunity given to everyone to raise the voice, share the ideas. The Best thing about S&P Global is work/life balance provided to each of the employee.

Productive and a fun place
Data Researcher I - Fundamentals (Former Employee) - Capital Territory - October 4, 2019
The compensation packages need improvement in the Pakistan office. The culture is really great and a lot of emphasis is put on employee training. The timings need to be a bit more flexible

S&P Global Market Intelligence is a provider of financial and industry data, research, news, and analytics to investment professionals.
Senior Content Analyst (Current Employee) - Islamabad, Pakistan - April 30, 2017
It’s a Fortune 500 Company and competitor of Bloomberg. It has a good work environment along good benefits. I have to review the all financial documents of Media, Real Estate, Private Equity and Energy related firms to identify the transactions and i also approve the work of junior analysts. I also review their financial documents to identify their Revenue, Income, Assets, Liabilities, Equity, outstanding no of share and outstanding options.
Our management measures our performance through peer comparison.
I have learned about multitasking, teamwork, MS Excel, Basics of SQL and DBMS.
It has a very friendly management and peers are very cooperative, we have weekly and monthly team meeting related to workflow.
S&P is employee friendly firm; we have quarterly dinners, annually Olympiad, EOM, EOQ events.
There is one Badminton court, two Foosball Games and a huge Cafeteria in which we can celebrate any event.
Pros
Friendly and Supportive Management
Cons
You can't make an error in your report otherwise company have to pay $50 per mistake to client.
