Better Pay
Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Leesburg, VA - February 20, 2020
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedBump it up to $12 Starting , I love it here but I just need more money, I am currently paying my own bills and it would be nice to have a little more money for other things, I had co workers get second jobs because the pay at one job was bad.

Underpaid to slave
Marketing/Merchandising Manager (Former Employee) - Utah County, UT - June 2, 2023
For the amount of hours and pay you receive it’s not worth working or spending your life working there! It’s a ok job for someone who’s in college or just a new job to start off with however if your trying to make a career out of it I would not recommend!
Pros
Free Lunch, Discounts on Merch
Cons
Bad Management, Not being heard

Stressful work environment.
Former employee (Former Employee) - Rue du Marché Central, Montréal - May 23, 2023
This company is constantly changing their boss as none of them are competent. The most recent boss they have at the moment is the worst. Beyond strict, will fire you by 3 months if you don't "prove" yourself, will blame you for any issue and will yell at their employees. Additionally, they don't give any sort of raise to their employees. If you work there, do not work there for more than a year.
Pros
Nice employees
Cons
Low salary, Bad management, Strict boss

It’s ok
Retail Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Atlantic City, NJ - May 23, 2023
Management come and goes nobody really stay here for a long time but it’s ok for a summer job. I would say just stick to yourself just so you won’t stress yourself out like that

Seasonal Sales Associate (Former Employee) - San Marcos, TX - May 23, 2023
Working at Under Armour turned out to be a significant disappointment and left me feeling utterly dissatisfied. The company's glossy exterior does not reflect the disheartening reality that awaits employees within its walls. Allow me to outline the numerous reasons why I regretted my time at Under Armour. First and foremost, the work environment at Under Armour is toxic and demoralizing. There is a pervasive culture of favoritism, where promotions and opportunities are often granted based on personal connections rather than merit or hard work. This creates a hostile and discouraging atmosphere, where talented individuals are overshadowed by those who play the political game.

Don’t take this position, for your own benefit
Footwear Lead (Former Employee) - Cabazon, CA - May 20, 2023
I worked my way up from sales associate fairly quickly. It took less than a year. I’ve been at under armour for 2 and a half years. Being an associate was pretty easy. Just do what your told, fold some cloths & help ring up customers. It’s an easy life. Hours are based off performance. I got tons of hours, close to full time hours because I did enjoy working and wanted to be there. I absolutely regret taking the footwear lead spot. I’ve witnessed 7 managers quit within my first year. 2 of those being the previous footwear leads. I never understood why the previous footwear leads were so spiteful of the job but I get it now. At first I got the time I needed to complete my tasks which included putting sensors on footwear, cleaning and organizing the footwear area in the stockroom and sales floor. Moving footwear displays and anything footwear related. I was also expected to fulfill positions above and below mine. So I captained the sales floor as a fill in manager when needed or help as an associate. This is where the problems arose. I was constantly pulled from my responsibilities to either ring, fold cloths, process freight that wasn’t mine because higher management wanted to prioritize that. Complete tasks that higher management didn’t want to do so they delegate constantly. After a while it was apparent that my job wasn’t important. The Footwear lead spot wasn’t important. As a “lead” you are at the bottom of the management tree. My departments numbers weren’t bad they were improved from the last footwear lead but that didn’t matter. I tried communicating about not being -
Pros
Hours during holidays, retail & social experience, employee discount
Cons
Performance based hours, no benefits, little to no hours during off season

Love working here. The culture is great and everyone wants to work. Don't see that much anymore. Management is great about being flexible with my schedule.

Workers and management
Maintenance (Current Employee) - Rialto, CA - May 12, 2023
Workers are under paid and manager are quick to get rid of any worker that doesn't fit in there ideal idea of "improvement". Basically be a favorite, be a extra hard worker, or get replaced.
Pros
Discount?
Cons
Under paid

Horrible Pay, Negative Management
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON - May 11, 2023
The pay is horrible compared to every competitor in retail. There is one manager that is extremely negative and she always complains and unnecessarily stresses out the sales associates (she is 50% of the reason why I resigned). Always severely understaffed which causes everyone to do even more work for less pay. Very difficult to get shifts covered since no one wants to work there so that causes a lot of call-ins which made the store even more understaffed. No opportunities to move up in leadership since corporate keeps removing the positions after an employee in management resigns.
Pros
Employee Discount
Cons
Pay, Management, Bad atmosphere, Understaffed

Great Retail Job
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Orlando, FL - May 11, 2023
Overall the job is a great experience at any level of experience. Never had trouble with co workers and management was fun and reasonable. At the end of the day it is a retail job.

Very good experience
Store Manager (Former Employee) - Ontario - May 11, 2023
A great place to work. Lots of opportunities for growth and support along the way. Typical retail challenges around hours for staffing, but all in all one of the better retailers.

It was really fun at first, then managers got a little too serious
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Lutz, FL - May 10, 2023
When I first worked at Under Armour it was really fun, everyone worked together and it was really just a fun place to be around, overtime however the managers started enforcing too many things. For example talking to other co workers when the store isn't busy. Standing around when your section is complete. etc very little stuff. They took the fun out of the job, however it was very fun, alot of room for advancement, decent hours, and good pay

Really enjoyed working for this company. Great place to learn and grow. I learned stocking and inventory. Was able to better my customer service skills. Mid Job Mid Pay
Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Orlando, FL - May 7, 2023
They have favorites, I was promised a promotion never got it. I was overworked and underpaid. Placed in every department. Their compensation for good work is nothing. The scheduling manager did to everything in their power to work with you and your times though.
