Positive Environment and Management
Sales Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Waterloo, NY - June 24, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe best part of this job for me was the work environment. My coworkers were pleasant to work with, and management were some of the best I've worked with. They are organized yet flexible, and do a good job balancing customer satisfaction while also supporting their employees. Weekends and holidays can be very busy, but that's true for pretty much any retail job. I felt valued and respected as an employee here.

Fun co-workers, terrible management
Sales Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Carlsbad, CA - May 4, 2023
Loved my coworkers, but did not like management. Physically and verbally abusive. The managers were WEIRD, other than that, it was a cool place to work.

Fun
Cashier/Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Sevierville, TN - April 25, 2023
Laid back work environment. Also very productive. It’s a nice job but you do have to work. It’s an even balanced job. Nice people to work with and who care about you.

Pretty rough systemic management issues
Sales Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Ocean City, MD - June 7, 2021
One of my managers always mad my job significantly easier and I valued that the most. The work is tedious and somewhat unpredictable, but not difficult. You have to understand what you're getting out of it. At the end of the day, it's your run in the mill retail job. Working the cashier, stocking product occasionally, working busy days. The difference for me was the people. If you're surrounded by people you may describe as a "stick in the mud", I felt like it would have been significantly more difficult. Just know what you're getting into.
Pros
Responsibilities are easy, great discount at the store, very much a team environment (with the right people).
Cons
bad pay, bad management, bad hours at times, ruthlessly crowded during the summer and holidays

Fun workplace
Sales Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - North Bend, WA - April 14, 2021
Fun workplace. Made amazing friends. Stress free environment but always kept busy. Management sometimes played favoritism. Pay was an issue but the work environment was fun and there was always something to do. Never boring.
Pros
Fun energetic work place
Cons
Pay

Typical retail, flexible, good discount
Sales Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Allen, TX - February 11, 2021
I worked here for a while, it was fine. I liked my co workers! The company stands by it's culture. I liked how the discount was able to be stacked. So long you looked athletic you could wear anything and no other brands than UA of course.
Pros
Good discount, easy work, good work environment
Cons
Inconsistent hours, management was okay, 2 no call no show policy

The management and workers are friendly and helpful. You will feel appreciated at your job. The work is boring and tedious at points but there are plenty of opportunities to help and engage with customers.

Fun
Cashier/Sales representative (Former Employee) - Albertville, MN - October 24, 2019
I believe the experience of every employee varies from location to location. I was employeed in Albertville, MN. The employee culture was very companion like - the managers were well trained and able to communicate well with their employees.

Sales Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Loveland, CO - August 8, 2019
I worked at Under Armour for about a year. I worked many different shifts anywhere from 5:30a-10a to 3p-9p. It didn't matter the shift for me it was always enjoyable! The other sales associates, leads and managers were professional and friendly to be around.

Great place
Sales Associate & Cashier (Former Employee) - Chicago, IL - May 12, 2019
It's a fun environment to work in and the workers are friendly. It is very quick-paced just like most retail so you have to be ready to move and get things for customers

Overall great place to work at
Sales Associate/Cashier (Current Employee) - Commerce, CA - September 29, 2018
During my time working for Under Armour I learned a lot. I learned great customer service skills, how to count money and work a register, how to be a productive teammate and an overall team player. Under Armour was an excellent place to learn all my skills from, since it was my first job after all, I found it really comforting that the mangers hired me despite it being my first job because no one else would hire me without experience. Under armor shaped me into the worker I am now. The management team was very professional and always had a positive attitude at work. I'd have to say the hardest part of the job was the busy weekends and busy holidays because it is nonstop lines at a very quick pace but it was pretty easy getting the lines down without getting frustrated. The most enjoyable part of working at UA is the team, everyone is so friendly and nice and you can always count on them for anything you need help with.
Pros
Flexible schedules, discounts, great management team and great coworkers
Cons
No cons for this job

Under Armour
Sales Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Charlotte, NC - August 9, 2018
a typical day at Under Armour could go either way depending on the attitude of the manager. When the manager and/or managers wasn't happy neither was the rest of the team. When they don't feel like talking they would ignore you pretty much your whole entire shift. The discounts were amazing and the clothes were as well. Overall the day can go good if the manager was in a good mood.

Slow paced sales work
Cashier/Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Annapolis, MD - May 30, 2018
At times it could be busy but it was usually slow. The Hours were inconsistent. If we did not meet a certain sales quota most of the blame was placed on the workers and some managers would rarely help on the floor.
