A colleagial and competitive work culture prevailed
A typical day usually started with visiting schools located in remote areas of the community very early morning even before the schools start their usual morning assemblies. Rather conducive environment of learning for those teacher educators who have their passion growing professionally and learn and practice new pedagogical skills. I learnt how to be more human and mindful teacher educator while observing teachers for their teaching sessions and giving them positive feedback. Management at MIED was rather cooperative towards their employees who are competent in their work and proved themselves productive for their organization so that positive collaborative work and learning culture prevailed. The hardest part of the job was adjusting oneself in an environment of remote areas of the country where basic necessities of life are not available, which include accommodation, access to electronic and print media and communication with other part of the country. Nevertheless the most enjoyable part of the job is visiting worth seeing places of the remote areas and enjoy diverse culture and lifestyle of people.
