Job Title: Research / Sourcing Specialist – E-commerce

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: DHA Phase 8, Lahore (On-site)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shift Timing: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM (PKT)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Research / Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for identifying profitable products, reliable suppliers, and market trends for our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience researching products for platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or other online marketplaces. The role requires strong market analysis, supplier sourcing, and profitability evaluation skills to support successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct product research to identify high-demand and profitable products.

● Analyze competitors, pricing strategies, and market trends within the e-commerce market.

● Source reliable manufacturers and suppliers from platforms such as Alibaba, AliExpress, and other sourcing channels.

● Evaluate product profitability, including cost, margins, shipping expenses, and competition level.

● Maintain product research reports, supplier lists, and sourcing databases.

● Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for product launches and listing optimization.

● Monitor product performance and recommend improvements or new opportunities.

Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

● 1–2 years of experience in product research or sourcing for e-commerce.

● Familiarity with platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or other online marketplaces.

● Experience using product research tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, etc.) is a plus.

● Strong analytical and research skills.

● Good communication and reporting abilities.

Preferred Skills

● Knowledge of product validation and demand analysis.

● Supplier negotiation and sourcing skills.

● Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting.
