About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong PHP development skills, extensive experience with WordPress, and hands-on experience using modern AI-powered development tools such as Cursor AI, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, high-performance websites.
- Optimize website speed, security, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor AI, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Follow WordPress coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong expertise in PHP and MySQL.
- Advanced knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Strong experience in converting PSD/Figma/XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS websites.
- Excellent skills in custom HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.
- Ability to build fully custom WordPress themes from scratch without relying heavily on page builders.
- Experience with Elementor Pro, Gutenberg, and other popular page builders.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with website security and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor AI, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
