About the Role
We are hiring an Associate Business Developer / Upwork Bidder who can generate quality business opportunities through Upwork bidding, LinkedIn outreach, cold emailing, lead generation, proposal writing, and client communication.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in finding relevant projects, writing customized proposals, communicating with international clients, and supporting the complete business development process for IT/software services.
This role is suitable for someone who understands IT sales, software services, client acquisition, and online bidding platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Find and apply to relevant projects on Upwork
- Write customized, professional, and result-driven Upwork proposals
- Manage Upwork profile communication and client responses
- Generate leads through LinkedIn outreach and outbound emails
- Research potential clients and identify new business opportunities
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the internal team
- Maintain lead pipeline, follow-ups, and proposal status
- Track conversions and report daily/weekly business development activity
- Support project onboarding after successful client communication
- Build professional relationships with potential clients
Required Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Upwork bidding, business development, or IT sales
- Strong experience in Upwork proposals and client communication
- Good knowledge of LinkedIn lead generation and outreach
- Experience with cold emailing and outbound sales strategies
- Excellent English writing and communication skills
- Basic understanding of IT services such as websites, mobile apps, software, SaaS, AI, and digital solutions
- Ability to understand client requirements and write clear proposals
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and professional attitude
- Good follow-up, time management, and reporting skills
- Comfortable working onsite from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM
