Crochet Pattern Designer (1+ Year Experience Required)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Crochet Pattern Designer with at least 1 year of experience creating original crochet patterns. This is a remote freelance opportunity with potential for long-term collaboration.

The ideal candidate has experience writing clear, easy-to-follow crochet instructions and creating modern, market-ready designs.

Responsibilities

• Design original crochet patterns (no copied work)
• Write clear, step-by-step instructions (US terminology preferred)
• Include materials list, stitch guide, abbreviations, and sizing
• Format patterns into professional PDF files
• Provide photos of finished products (preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience designing crochet patterns
• Strong understanding of crochet techniques and pattern structure
• Ability to create beginner and intermediate-level patterns
• Good written English communication skills
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling crochet patterns on Etsy or similar platforms
• Experience with amigurumi, clothing, or home décor patterns
