Senior Backend Developer (NestJS + TypeScript + MySQL)

We are an established finance company with over 12 years of industry experience, focused on building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications that help individuals and businesses make smarter financial decisions.

We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in NestJS, TypeScript, and MySQL to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex backend challenges, writing clean architecture, and contributing to the development of reliable financial systems.

While accounting knowledge is considered a plus, it is not required. We value logical thinking, strong backend engineering skills, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NestJS
• Build and manage efficient MySQL database structures and queries
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers using Angular for smooth API integrations
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures
• Participate in technical discussions, planning sessions, and code reviews
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues efficiently
• Contribute to continuous product and architecture improvements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of MySQL database design and optimization
• Experience building RESTful APIs and scalable backend architectures
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team

Nice to Have

• Experience working in fintech or finance-related applications
• Knowledge of accounting systems or financial workflows
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, or microservices architecture
• Experience collaborating with Angular frontend teams
